Sesame Street Live

Last week Chloe and I had the fun opportunity to go and see Sesame Street Live! The USO brought the show to the local military base and we were able to get free tickets! Initially, Joe and I had decided that we would take Chloe as a reward for going to bed like a big girl, but then when Chloe started pre-school, we found out they were going to the show on a field trip!! A parent was required to go since it was Chloe's first week in class and I was more than happy to go with Chloe and her classmates! It was a good time to get to talk with her teachers a bit and find out who some of the kids are! Chloe loved the show and was also very excited about her very first bus ride!Here is Chloe sitting on the bus in the parking lot of her school. She is getting so big, but she looked really little to me on the big bus!!

Elmo and the gang on stage. It was so fun to watch Chloe's face as she took in the show. The kids all cheered when each of the characters came on stage and of course, the cheers for Elmo were the loudest! Chloe has not stopped talking about the show since we left. We will have to get tickets to Sesame Street again next year! The characters came down off the stage at various times during the show to give hugs and high fives to the kids, which was really cool. Chloe kept begging to go down to the stage, but I hesitated at first since we were with her class and no one else was going down. Finally, one of the other girls convinced her mom, so Chloe and I ran down at the same time. There was a huge throng around Elmo so we went over to see Zoe instead. Chloe was so excited!!
