January 2012 was another busy month for us!!
Happy New Year 2012!!
We visited my parents' church on New Year's Day. There was a special guest from the Creation Museum there for the service. He brought several different animals and explained how God's creation points us back to Him. It was very neat. At the very end, he took out a huge Python named Daisy and let people hold and touch the snake. The snake kept trying to wrap itself around Joe.
Chloe, Caleb, and Joe all held the snake. They were much braver than I was!! The man from the Creation Museum told us that the snake they were holding was not intelligent at all. He said snakes like it do not bond with an owner and really can't tell the difference between a person and a tree. That is one reason why these snakes can be so dangerous.
We also sent our elf Buddy back home to the North Pole. Our kids are very spoiled in that Buddy usually stays at our house for a few extra days after Christmas. They are always sad to see him leave for the year.

Caleb played so hard that he fell asleep in the middle of the bedroom!!

Only 5 months old and sitting on his own!! He loves the toy Santa brought him for Christmas!!
Chloe cheered in a recreational/instructional league all of January and February!! She had a lot of fun!!
