Vacation Part 4 - Magic Kingdom Day 1

Finally, we were going to Disney World, specifically the Magic Kingdom!! Chloe was excited to get up and get going!! And the rest of us were too!!
Here are the kids waiting outside to catch the bus to the park. If you're planning to go to Disney, a stroller is a definite must, at least in my opinion! It was really nice for Chloe to have a place to ride since the parks are pretty big. And the stroller allowed us to move around the parks more quickly too!

We got to the park before it opened because I had heard that the characters all show up just minutes before the park opens. What a great way to start our time at Disney World! Chloe sat on Joe's shoulders so she could get a good view!

We made a quick stop in the Hall of Presidents while we were waiting for Toon Town to open.

Joe was happy to see a picture of former president Ronald Reagan. He wanted his picture taken next to one of the great ones. If you ask me, he's next to two of the great ones!

One of the many stroller parking lots. I have never seen so many strollers in my life. There were actually attendants in the "parking lots". They would line up the strollers so they were all facing the same way. Sometimes when we came off of a ride we had to hunt a bit for our stroller.

Chloe caught a virus while we were on vacation, so we took her to the first aid center. She took some medicine and then rested for a while on the cots there. Keep this in mind if you are ever at Disney World and you or your child are feeling a little ill. It was certainly better than having to go back to the hotel in the middle of the day. After her nap, she woke up and felt well enough to go on some more rides!

There was a show at the castle several times a day with various characters. It lasted around 15 minutes and was really cute. At the end of it, some fireworks were shot into the air. Very fun!

It's hard to believe that Chloe is old enough to ride by herself now! The last time she was on a carousel, she was younger than Caleb is now!
