Vacation Part 10 - Downtown Disney

Since we had planned a "down day" between each of our days at the parks, we decided to head to Downtown Disney on Saturday. There was so much to see and do! We went to the more family friendly market area. There were several restaurants, lots of live entertainment, and tons of shopping including the BIGGEST Disney store I have ever seen!!

We headed there after the kids' naps and caught an early dinner at Rainforest Cafe. We got there before it got too crowded, which was really nice! We ate in the Ape (Monkey??) room and we enjoyed watching the animals come to life! The food was pretty good, especially the coconut shrimp! This monkey was close to our table.

There were tons of scenes with characters that were great for pictures!! This one was at the Winnie the Pooh store. I think this one was also at the store. Chloe got to be a pro at posing for pictures on this trip!

A display at the Lego store. Joe had wanted to get some special Lego pieces at the store, but the lines were really long!! The store was so crowded you could hardly move!

Chloe ran up and sat on the dog for this picture! Later we noticed the sign saying to stay off the Lego statues!

Chloe is the only one in these pictures because Joe kindly took the kids so I could do a little shopping on my own! It was very nice to be able to take my time ... the stores were really exciting to me ... I almost felt like a little kid myself!
