Easter

"...but the angel said, “Don’t be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Look, this is where they laid his body." Mark 16:6 (NLT)

It seems like Christmas was just a few weeks ago. Hard to believe that Easter has already come and gone for the year too! But what wonderful news to remember ... Jesus is alive and one day we will be with Him in eternity! God made such an amazing sacrifice for us in allowing His innocent Son to die for our sins. It's funny how things change when you have a child. As a mother, I have become so much more aware of just how much of a sacrifice it was. Of all the people in the world, the person it is hardest for me to see hurt is Chloe. There is that special love parents have for their children and I don't think you really know that love until you have children of your own. Easter reminds me of how wonderful God is, and also, just how precious Chloe is as well.

Chloe and Mommy. It was a bit chilly that day so we both wore sweaters over our sundresses. Notice the Zoe hair tie in Chloe's hair. She has Zoe, Elmo, and Cookie Monster hair ties and she doesn't want anything else in her hair these days!

Chloe and Daddy. The pictures of Chloe and Joe always seem to turn out better than the ones of Chloe and me. Maybe it's because Joe is always trying to get a laugh ... or maybe I just take better pictures with the camera :-)

Yummy! A chocolate bunny just for Chloe! What could be better than that?! Here you can see part of Chloe's pretty dress. Her cousin Alex chose the dress for her last summer. He told his Mommy that it had to be a pink dress because "Chloe is a lady"!
