Easter Party

Yesterday Chloe's class at school was having a party for Easter. Families were invited to come in for snack time and an Easter egg hunt. Chloe misses some of the parties since she is only at school a couple days a week, but we decided to go in yesterday just for the party. One of her teachers made homemade cookies in the shapes of bunnies, ducks, and eggs, and they kids had banana smoothies too. After the snack the kids scattered around the room to hunt for Easter eggs. It was really cute to watch them look under, over, and into the many places around the room in their hunt for eggs. Here are a couple pictures of Chloe searching for eggs. In the picture above, she is smiling as she puts an egg she found in the "sink" of the kitchen area into her basket. She found several eggs in the kitchen area, which is very appropriate since the kitchen area is one of her favorite places in the room.

After finding several eggs, Chloe continued to look a little while longer. She, as well as a couple of the other kids, started hunting for eggs just a little earlier than most of her friends. They were just too excited to wait!
This was taken before the egg hunt. I love the expression on her face and her crazy hair! She is holding one of her prized pairs of sunglasses. After yesterday, I think she is ready for the Easter egg hunt she will have tomorrow at Nana and Pop's house.
