4th of July Parade

We had a great time this year at the Fourth of July parade!! It was warm and sunny, but we found a nice spot under a shady tree and really enjoyed watching the parade! We missed my Dad, who usually joins us, as he and my mom were out of town for the weekend. My sister Brooke came along with us this year and it was a lot of fun!!

Chloe really liked this train! It was part of a local church's float and there were lots of children riding on it.

Part of the Shriners' portion of the parade. They had all of the little go-carts and motorcycles too! We got video of them and they were pretty cool! I have to say that the Shriner's car show is probably my favorite part of the parade!

This float was pulled by horses instead of a truck. How cool!

Waving flags! One of the groups gave out nice Made in the USA flags to those of us watcing the parade. It was fun to see everyone waving the flags!

I thought this bus covered with flowers was pretty cool!!

Joe tried to get a close up picture of the OSU float. When we got home, he realized there was some guy standing in the middle of it!! Ha!

This reminded us of the importance of voting! The trike on the front could do wheelies. It was pretty funny!!

What a fun parade!! Happy Fourth of July!! Thank you to everyone who has fought and is fighting for our freedom even today! So thankful to be a nation under GOD!
