A Night Away

Last week Joe planned a romantic getaway for the two of us. It was our first time leaving Caleb over night, so I wanted to stay close to home. My wonderful sister Brooke came to our house to watch the kiddos and we were excited to get away for the night.

We hopped in the car and drove for a little while until we arrived at the Willow Tree Inn Bed and Breakfast in Tipp City. It is a beautiful home, dating back to the 1830s. 

The Willow Tree has four rooms and we happened to be the only guests there that night! This is the beautiful room where we stayed.

The entire B&B was furnished with beautiful antiques.

The large bathroom had a beautiful cast-iron claw foot tub. It was perfect for a soak with a good book.

We went to dinner in Troy at a delicious Italian restaurant La Piazza.

On the way back to the Willow Tree, we saw this pretty light display.

We had a great time and I can't wait for another fun getaway ... are you available any time soon Brooke?!?! :-)
