A trip to the museum

It was nice to have some extra time to spend together over the holidays this year. We decided to take Chloe to the Boonshoft Museum one afternoon. If you have not been there in a while, you have to go back!! It has changed so much from when we were kids. I think Joe and I had as much fun as Chloe did! It is so cool how the museum is divided into different areas for various ages. Chloe was old enough to enjoy a lot of the activities. We spent quite a while in the water area. Chloe loved splashing in the water. Of course, Joe had to show her how to make the water spray higher and higher! Chloe had a blast in the little town as well. She shopped for groceries in the general store, making sure to purchase three staples - milk, juice, and ice cream! Then she "scanned" the groceries while Joe "purchased" them. Chloe also like dressing up in the different costumes and putting Joe and I in jail! One of the final stops at the museum was the otters. They were so silly and Chloe loved pressing her face up to the glass to see them! It was such a fun day, we can't wait to go back again!
