Friends

Bedtime is such a good time for conversation with the kids. Here is the conversation between Chloe and I as I was tucking her in to bed last night.

C: Mommy, I'm scared and sad.
Me: Why are you sad, Chloe?
C: Because I don't have any friends over to sleep with me.
Me: (Pointing to her stuffed animals) You have Mickey and Elmo right next to you.
C: Mom, I'm talking about real friends, not my stuffed animals!!

Ha!
